Seeking a Minister Licence?  Find Out How to Become a Christian Minister

First We Need to Know, Is God Calling You to Ministry?

Has God burdened you with a mission to help people in a particular area of ministry?

Do you find yourself thinking about following God so often that you may even lose sleep over it?

Do you feel like you have been blessed with a gift, talent, or special ability that you should be using to advance the Kingdom of God?

Are You Seeking to Become a Pastor, Evangelist, Chaplain, Ordained Minister, etc?

Do you want to start a church or new ministry?

If you are reading this page, it is likely that God has called you to ministry.  Now you are looking for a Christian organization to help you become an ordained minister, so that you can do the work that He has given you to do.  If so, you are at the right place.  Our organization exists to help people like you answer their calls to ministry.  We do this by providing ordination, fellowship, and theological training -as a ministry to you without charging for any of these services.

Ordination/Minister License

The National Association of Christian Ministers is a professional organization dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We are people from many different church backgrounds who choose to set aside our denominational differences, and unite at the foot of the cross.  We are specifically "Christian", and believe that Jesus is the "only" way to salvation.  We desire to recognize ministers of the Gospel with ordination and minister licenses, so that they may enter hospitals, shelters, nursing homes, and jails with this message. We also desire to see these ministers start new churches and ministries that build the Kingdom of God.  In other words, it is our ministry to send ministers with the hope of our faith.

Requirements for Ordination/Minister License

Candidates Must:

1) Be accepted into membership.

2) Make a firm confession of Christian faith.

3) Demonstrate a call to ministry.

4) Confirm that they are free from sexual sin.

8) Pass an internet background check (including a sex offender registry check).

We accept ordination applications online and attempt to notify applicants of a decision within 7 days.  Those which are approved for ordination also have the option to call upon a local Elder for the "laying on of hands", or a blessing by phone if they wish.  But this is merely an option, it is not a requirement for ordination.  We are still in the process of placing local Elders; therefore, one may not yet be available in your area.

Ministry Charters -ministry ordination

We desire to see the Christian faith advanced in all the world through ministries of every kind.  We believe that God has called believers to some form of ministry in one way or another.  Some are called to start traditional churches, and others house churches.  Some are called to shelter ministries and others to motorcycle ministries.  For this reason we offer ministry charters as a way of recognizing God's call of a ministry much like ordination recognizes the call of minister.
